"It's like pornography, you'll know it when you see it."

So classes start next Tuesday, which means I only have a week left before I have homework again. It's kind of like some sick joke that I keep playing on myself every year. Hopefully, and I know I've said this before, but this should be my last year. 8 credits this term, 14 next term, and 12 for spring, and viola! Graduation. So there's that. Here's crossing my fingers to graduation. In other news here are some fun things I have discovered as of late:

ical calendars
This page has some calendars you can download if you have the program ical, although I think it works for other platforms as well. I have downloaded the Lunsol (which has the cycle of the moon) and the movie releases calendar (which details movies that are coming out each weekend). It's totally awesome. They also have a ton of other stuff that I don't really know anything about, or care about. Such as sports calendars and a calendar detailing things from the Lord of the Rings to the corresponding calendar days. Hm, am I dorky enough to get that one??

Now, unfortunately my tv watching has been really cramped as of late, mostly due to my work schedule, but I did get a chance to catch a few of the recently premiering new shows. Here are some highlights (and if I lack to mention a show you were thinking I would have watched, never fear, I have Sara Roark busy on the recording of those I've missed. Full update on that later).

Threshold: Fridays at 9pm on cbs
So I happened to catch this show because I am a lame-o who was too tired to go out last Friday. Now normally I'm like, if a show is scheduled for a Friday that means it sucks ass, but this show was actually not too bad. Now to the trained ear, me saying 'not too bad' means they would hate it and never watch it, but if you are into the some-what-lame-o sci-fi tv dramas like I am then you will concure with my 'not too bad' judgement. The story is all 'oh, what is going on I don't know what will happen next' a la Lost, but to narrow it down to something understandable I would say its like the X Files, only different. Ha Ha. Anyways it has some chick in it that I've seen before... Carla Gugino from Sin City and that show that I never watched Karen Sisco but the thing I find her most memorable from is that awsome movie I have on VHS Son In Law with Paulie Shore. I knew she was destined for stardome! There are also some other familiar faces, such as Robert Patrick Benedict who was Richard on one of my fav. shows Felicity, and some other people I don't have the time to look up on IMDB. At any rate if you should happen to find yourself at home on a Friday night with nothing else to do, watch Threshold.

Bones: Tuesdays at 8pm on Fox
Now this show is up against one of my favs, Gilmore Girls, so it's already got a bit of a strike against it, but since I know my great friend Sara Windsheimer-I-mean-Roark can be counted on for always recording GG, I can watch it. Oh wait, did I forget to mention the best part? David Boreanaz!!!! Thats right, you favorite vampire with a soul is back on tv, and this time he can be in the sunshine with the rest of us. It's kinda wierd, though, to tell you the truth. I mean, he was a vampire for like, 8 years, and all of a sudden he is like this FBI agent who can walk around in the sunlight and eat normal foods. Someday I will learn how to pronounce his name, but for now I'm content watching Angel play Special Agent Seeley Booth, Tuesdays at 8pm. Watch it only if you have someone else recording GG for you.

Happy Tuesday Cyberspace!
